I woke up and said, "I know! Let's bike the 17 Mile Drive!" He said, "Oh, good idea, why didn't I think of that?"
......
at 1:30, we picked up 2 mountain bikes and off we went. The first picture, that was taken after 30 minutes into the ride. Still pretty happy. No bickering. Two hours later, I requested that we give up and turn around. Ya right, said the husband, this was your idea and there's no turning back. Picture #2 was taken after going up the hill (and against the wind)..notice the furrows? Don't I look pleased that we made it to the peak? See that pout? It's really a smile...hahaha.. ya right!
.......
....hmm....(note to self)....newly wed lesson #1 - do not make suggestions or voice ideas without first thinking about the consequences because the husband is a "you must follow through" kinda guy.

yes, thinking about the end result before the suggestion is always a good idea, especially in the marriage, sometimes there's no turning back!
